All Excel for Charity writing competitions offer a form of publishing opportunity to entrants. Where the competition is for a magazine such as Swale Life, the winning and commended works will be published in the magazine. Other competitions will yield themselves to publications in anthologies or on the Excel for Charity website.

Our first anthology publication was Blue Hyacinths (2010) edited by Geoff Stevens and Nnorom Azuonye. Finishing touches are now being made to our second anthology; Night Shift on the Dementia Floor to be published in June 2011 edited by Nnorom Azuonye and Gerald England.

Buying these books, whether or not your work is published in them is a great way of supporting Excel for Charity and keep this initiative alive.
